Tufts Men's Lacrosse Advances to National Semi-final with 15-13 Quarterfinal Victory Over RIT

A four-goal run spanning from late in the third quarter to early in the fourth opened up a 13-9 lead for the Tufts men's lacrosse team, and the Jumbos held off visiting RIT to earn a 15-13 victory in the quarterfinal round of the NCAA Div. 3 Championship on Wednesday afternoon.

Player of the Year McCormick, Five Others from Men's Lacrosse Honored as All-New England

Six members of the Tufts University men's lacrosse team were voted as 2012 New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) All-New England recipients announced yesterday. Senior midfielder Kevin McCormick (Laytonsville, MD) is Player of the Year and freshman attack Cole Bailey (Millersville, MD) is Rookie of the Year.

Kirwan Scores Seven to Capture NESCAC Player of the Week After Jumbos Win Men's Lax Title

After an injury forced him to miss the first 10 games of the season, senior co-captain Sean Kirwan (Boonton Township, NJ) is returning to form for the Tufts men's lacrosse team. His seven goals in two games over the weekend helped Tufts win the conference title and earned him the conference Player of the Week honor.
