2018 (Junior): Wurts opened his junior season with a 36th-place finish in the Pineland XC Shootout...he ran in the Purple Valley Classic in which the Jumbos placed seventh...at the All-New England Championship, the junior posted a 28:14.98...Wurts competed in the Connecticut College Invitational where the brown and blue finished fourth.

2017 (Sophomore): Ran in two races for the Jumbos during his sophomore season... placed 47th in the Purple Valley Classic where Tufts placed 10th... also ran in the Connecticut College Invite.

2016(Freshman): Competed in three races for the Jumbos during his rookie campaign...made his collegiate debut and finished 42nd at the Bates Invitational on September 17th...competed in the 8K race at the Purple Valley Classic and finished 165th...finished out the season by racing in the James Earley Invitational at Westfield State, where he finished 91st.

Before Tufts: Was on the cross country, indoor track, outdoor track, baseball and alpine skiing teams at Concord-Carlisle High School...was fifth at the MIAA D3 Championships in the 2 mile.

Personal: Son of Jay and Lois...has one sibling, a twin Alex (19).
