Academic All-NESCAC Selections for 2011-12 Winter Sports Include 91 Jumbo Student-Athletes

Ninety-one winter sport athletes at Tufts were awarded Academic All-New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) honors on Wednesday. Recipients have achieved at least sophomore academic standing with a grade point average of 3.35 or better and are letter-winners on their teams.

The Tufts women's fencing team won one out of their three matches at the Eric Sollee Invitational hosted by Brandeis University on Saturday. The Jumbos defeated Hunter 19-8, while dropping matches to Johns Hopkins 18-9 and Penn 22-5.
