TUFTS' KOZIN, PEREZ ON 2011 IWLCA ALL-AMERICA SECOND TEAM FOR WOMEN'S LACROSSE
Leading scorer Lara Kozin (Suffern, NY) and two-way midfielder Steph Perez (East Providence, RI) of the Tufts women's lacrosse team capped the program's excellent 2011 season with their recognition as Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) All-American awards, announced on Friday.

TUFTS WOMEN'S LACROSSE KNOCKED OUT OF NCAA'S AT CORTLAND STATE, 13-7
Junior Lindsay Abbott (South Onondaga, NY) scored a game-high seven points on three goals and four assists to become the school's all-time leading scorer in helping the nationally fourth-ranked Cortland women's lacrosse team to a 13-7 win versus Tufts in the second round of the NCAA Div. III playoffs Saturday at the Stadium Complex.

WOMEN'S LACROSSE HEADED TO CORTLAND, NEW YORK FOR SECOND ROUND OF NCAA CHAMPIONSHIP
With a 17-6 victory at Endicott College on Wednesday night, the Tufts women's lacrosse team punched its ticket to Cortland, New York for the second round of the NCAA Championship. The Jumbos will play the SUNY Cortland Red Dragons on Saturday at 11:30 am.

WOMEN'S LACROSSE SCORES 12 IN FIRST HALF AND RUNS AWAY FROM WESLEYAN FOR 19-9 NESCAC WIN
Tufts, ranked 11th nationally in Division III, had four players record a hat trick, led by the five-goal output of junior Casey Egan (Massapequa, NY), who also had three assists for an eight-point day, as the visiting Jumbos racked up a 19-9 NESCAC victory over Wesleyan here today in women's lacrosse action. Tufts has now won four in a row over Wesleyan and six of the last seven meetings to improve its overall lead in the series to 29-5.

The 11th ranked Tufts University women's lacrosse team outscored Haverford College 8-6 in the first half and then held on for an 11-10 victory on Wednesday at Swan Field. Haverford pulled within a goal with less than 12 minutes to go, but the Jumbos stood strong to post the out-of-region win.

Senior captain Leah Wasserman scored six goals to lead the #9 Stevens Institute of Technology women's lacrosse team to a 15-10 victory over 12th-ranked Tufts University on Monday at the De Baun Athletic Complex. The Ducks, now 3-1 to start the season, outscored Tufts 10-2 in the first 30 minutes, and the Jumbos were never able to get closer than five goals the rest of the way.
