Laliberty, a junior goalie on the women's lacrosse team from Newburyport, Mass., receives Jumbo Athlete of the Week for the second straight time. She and the Tufts defense shut down Wesleyan on Saturday leading the Jumbos to their first NESCAC championship with a 14-3 win over the Cardinals. Laliberty saved 13 of Wesleyan's 16 shots on goal (.813 save percentage), including nine out of 10 in the second half. She also caused a turnover and collected three ground balls. The three goals allowed were the third-fewest in conference championship game history.
