155 Jumbo Winter Student-Athletes Earn Academic All-NESCAC For Most In Conference

MEDFORD - The 2020-21 winter sports teams at Tufts University placed 155 student-athletes on the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) All-Academic Teams released today. The 155 Tufts honorees is the most in the conference.

A total of 1,151 student-athletes in all were named to the 2021 NESCAC Winter All-Academic Team by the conference office. To be honored this year, an individual must have been enrolled full-time during the fall or spring semester, reached sophomore academic standing, and be in good standing in their sport with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.50 or equivalent on a 4.0 scale at the end of the fall semester. Transfers must have completed one year of study at an institution.

Recipients are awarded in the sports of men's and women's basketball, women's fencing, men's ice hockey, men's and women's swimming & diving, men's and women's squash, men's and women's track & field.
