Another veteran leader for Tufts University Baseball, Bob Kenny is in his 16th season as an assistant coach for the Jumbos. He joined the stafff after four seasons as a Jumbo catcher and graduating in 2005.

Kenny started 106 games behind the plate for the Jumbos from 2002-05 and was the lone captain of the 2005 team. He started 29 games as a freshman in 2002 when Tufts won the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) title and played in the NCAA Tournament, winning a pair of games. Kenny was behind the plate many times during Jumbo all-time victories leader Jon Lee's pitching career.

As an assistant, he has helped guide the team to five more NESCAC titles and six NCAA Tournament berths. He worked closely with catchers Alex Perry and Matt Collins during seasons in which they won NESCAC Defensive Player of the Year honors. He also mentored All-NESCAC receivers Nick Cutsumpas and Bryan Egan.

From Milford, Mass., Kenny also serves as the equipment manager for Tufts Athletics.
