Brian Golden returns as Associate Head Coach of the Tufts Golf team for the 2018-19 season.

Golden was a four-year letterman on the Tufts golf team under Coaches Bill Gehling, Don Megerle and Bob Sheldon. He also played for the Tufts Squash team his senior year.

During Golden's time with the Tufts golf team, the Jumbos won the Greater Boston League Championship three of the four years defeating teams such as Boston College, Harvard, BU and MIT. 

A third-generation legacy at Tufts, Golden's father Brian and aunt Maureen have been Trustees of Tufts. He graduated in 1989 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English.

Golden has been in the golf business for over 25 years and gained certification as a PGA Class A Professional in 1998. He is currently the Director of Golf at Sandy Burr Country Club in Wayland, Mass. Since he started working at Sandy Burr, he assisted previous Tufts golf coach Bob Sheldon and was able to make Sandy Burr the home course for the golf team.
