Colin Richey
Title: Assistant Coach

Colin Richey has joined the Tufts University men's basketball coaching staff under first-year head coach Brandon Linton.

Joining the Jumbos after two years (2019-21) at Assumption College, Richey helped coach the Greyounds to the program's best record in five years for the 2019-20 season. The team's 14-12 finish that season came after they had won just 15 games combined in the previous two years. Richey is currently pursuing a Master’s of Business Administration degree at Assumption.

For the 2018-19 season, Richey was an assistant at Nichols College when the Bison advanced to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament, won the Commonwealth Coast Conference championship and finished with a 28-3 record.

A 2018 graduate of Saint Michael's College, Richey was a four-year varsity player who rececived the program's Jerry Lanteri Class of ’76 Basketball Recognition Award for exemplary contributions to the team.

Originally from Upton, Mass., Richey attended Choate Rosemary Hall where he captained the basketball team.
