Joshi Out of Consolation Bracket at Women's Squash National Collegiate Individual Championships

PHILADELPHIA - Freshman Riddhi Joshi of the Tufts women's squash team was eliminated from the consolation bracket of the Holleran Cup South Division at the College Squash Association National Collegiate Individual Championships on Saturday.

The #12 seed in the Holleran South bracket, Joshi lost 12-10, 11-9, 11-6 in a competitive match against #8 seed Ciara Richards from Drexel University.

Richards will play for the consolation championship tomorrow morning versus #7 seed Sarah Cao of Columbia.

The Holleran Cup South Division is one of four tournaments being held this weekend (North, East, South, West) that represent the second division of individual players nationally. The top 16 individuals are competing for the Ramsay Cup.

The Arlen Specter US Squash Center in Philadelphia is the site of the competition.
