|Rhemi Toth's 1,500 time was her career-best|
HANOVER, N.H. – Senior co-captain Annalisa DeBari and the 4x400-meter relay scored for the Tufts University women's track & field team on day two of the 2018 New England Intercollegiate Amateur Athletic Association Championships Saturday at Dartmouth College.
DeBari ran 14.44 in the 100-meter hurdles to finish fifth. She then ran the second leg of the 4x4 with sophomore Raquel Whiting, sophomore Nehalem Kunkle-Read and sophomore Julia Gake for a 3:55.31 mark that was eighth at the meet.
Sophomore Rhemi Toth ran her career-best time in the 1,500 meters on Saturday, finishing 10th out of 30 in the race with a 4:34.85 time. That mark is ranked 23rd nationally for Division III.
Senior co-captain Jennifer Sherwill and junior Sarah Perkins both finished 14th in their events. Sherwill produced 122'9" (37.41m) distance in the discus. Perkkins finished the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 11:22.16.
The five points scored by DeBari and the 4x4 left Tufts in a tie for 30th place at the meet.
The MIT Final Qualifier is the last event on the Jumbo schedule prior to the NCAA Championships coming up May 24-26.
